Property cooling measure effective 30th Sep 2022

Singapore government has introduced yet another Property Cooling Measure just before the midnight of 29th September 2022 to tighten property loan borrowings in view of the increasing interest rate environment and also to cool off the HDB resale market. A higher interest rate of 0.5% will be taken as the medium-term stress test to compute the Total Debt Serving Ratio (TDSR) and Mortgage Servicing Ratio (MSR) for Residential & Non-Residential property.
